I worked here in 1975 when it was Friskies restaurant! It was a high class joint. It had real cloth tablecloths. Lol. The chef wore the big hat etc... You had to have dress clothes on to enter. Ahhh good times....

This tiny bar/restaurant packs a lot of punches. The food is great (better than I expected). For 37 we ordered two cocktails, a small pizza and appetizer. There are some leftovers, but not for lack of flavor. More that I was excited to take them home! Nice atmosphere with friendly people too. The view from the dining area was great and refreshing. Plenty of parking and a smoking area for those folks who partake. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. I recommend their t-shirts for this little Kankakee gem.

Updating from 4 years ago... The best Patty Melts and FRIED GREEN BEANS IN KANKAKEE COUNTY.. Been such a long while since I been here. Saw some old friends. Had great time.. Sure missed you Toni Vail and Love You
